Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support! I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...
EricaSAFJAF. What a grueling process of waiting!! My friend received nothing. This is what she told me she did. She went up to NH campus on Thur. Talked with the lady who said she "wasn't in the NH system". Couldn't see her application in the NH system. So she was referred to another lady who has access to all the computer info for all campuses and is waiting for this lady to get in touch with her but then the holiday came up. So maybe she didn't do something right with her app or maybe she did everything right and there is some other glitch. So it's a wait and see now what the problem is. SIGH.........
From my understanding at the information session all of the applicants are loaded into one database and they are organized according to scores. Each school is given a list of people that made it in to their school from that one database. Since it's a central database I doubt just North Harris would be having the problem. Maybe the lady your friend spoke to wasn't able to access it? She was probably only trying to pull her up as a student and couldn't find any nursing info in there. Even though I got accepted to Montgomery, "my records" doesn't have anything about it. I would imagine only the people in the nursing dept could view who was accepted, especially since nothing is final yet (with people declining and alternates getting accepted).
So has anyone talked to North Harris? I tried to call to ask the specific cut off score but the lady did not know this information. I know it was 11.2 but 11.2 what? If anyone knows this information that would be great! My score was 11.24 and I am an alternate. I know there is 30 of us, I wish they could tell us what number alternate we are!

I've tried and tried to call and never reach a live person! I'm an alternate for NH as well, my score is 11.265. Fingers crossed we get our calls soon!
