Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support! I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...
I could swear that my letter says that orientation is July 14th. Off to find it, but if anyone else could double check too that would be great.
ETA- As far as a blue card...I was told that the results would be sent to the Board of Nursing and that the school could access it through them. They only gave me a receipt, which I turned in at the nursing office (due along with intent to enroll and proof of Hep B by May 1st).
I can't find my letter!! I have everything but my letter, so if anyone else from Cyfair could chime in with the orientation date that would be great!
Me too, me too! July seems so far off, but I guess if I can wait two years, I can wait a couple of months. I'm hoping that getting ready for finals and then summer school will speed the wait up a bit.
Or does anyone know if the Fast Track hep B is accepted at Lone Star?
My doctor said the soonest I could be done was four months. If you get your first this month you could have them done before the start of school. You'll miss the deadline, but it may be okay as long as you have them done by the semester starts (Aug 30). I would make my first appointment ASAP.
Well i saw on the n. harris web site under the construction section that they purchased a building and are renovating it now, there are some picture up of the buildings progress. And it is labeled as the nursing building but i could not find any more information on what is going on. im sure they will tell us about it at orientation, but i would like to know now.. as im sure you would as well.

I just got my second hep b shot. I'll get the last one right before the deadline in July. Have you started yours?
