Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support! I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...
Thank you for the feedback. I did comfirm that since the fast track Hep B is approved by the CDC it is also accepted by Lone Star per the Dean. I started my 1st shot yesterday, will have 2nd May 16 and 3rd will be 30 days from that, so I'll finish by mid June. If anyone needs to do the fast track let me know I found a place that does it.....which apparently is a task in itself. Good luck to all!!!
I'm not sure yet what I think about the one day a week program. You'll be there for a 10 hr clinical, 2 hr lab and then another hour for something else on every Friday. I'm kinda thinking that could be rough going without any class room lecture.......idk.
I received a call from Montgomery this past Friday. I was #3 on the alternate list and a slot opened up - so I took it! Yay! That means an alternate slot at North Harris will be available soon!
I don't believe so. I haven't seen too many Montgomery students on here. Most are going to Cy-Fair and North Harris. One good thing about going to Montgomery is that our orientation is only a few weeks away!

Are you asking if any of the alternates have been contacted yet? If so, I've wondered this myself. I'm on the alternate list, no calls yet. Are you an alternate as well? I called North Harris last week to see if they would tell me the deadline for people to accept or turn down their spots. She wouldn't give it me but she did say if we get an alternate letter we have a pretty good chance of getting in.
I'm so frustrated with the lack of response from N. Harris, does ***** really exist? Have any alternates for N. Harris gotten any information.....heard anything.....spoken with someone....anyone???? Help!!!
