Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support! I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...
For those of you wondering about the horth harris letter of intent, there isnt one. Everything is done over the internet, you just have to email the nursing department, the email address is given on the acceptance letters and tell them if you accept or decline and which orientation you are going to. Hope that helps and i hope those still waiting on letters get in soon. And if you waiting and wondering about scores i heard 11.2 was the lowest to get in, i got an 11.356 and got into north harris is my 3rd choice.
About North harris, I got an alternate letter about two weeks ago and have been waiting to see what the cut off scores was on here but i do not believe the cut off score was 11.2 but i believe it was higher than 11.2 because i have a 11.24 and got a alternate letter. I was pretty disappointed but i am hoping that i get in because i really need this but i guess now it is just a waiting processing hoping to get into north harris.
it wasnt exactly 11.2... im not sure what the exact number is since they carry it out several decimal points. Good luck on getting in. Alot of people have been getting the acceptance letters to UT some theres still hope!!!
I still have not received anything...north harris was my first choice and cyfair as my second. Neither school has sent me anything...I am calling them monday. Am I the only person yet to receive anything at all??
