Fall 2010 Lonestar ADN Hopefuls

Published

Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support!:yeah: I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!

Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...

LoneStar hopefuls...WHERE YOU AT?!! :heartbeat

I got my letter from Montgomery today also. I am not sure if i will be attending though. Still waiting on UT.

Good Luck Everyone

Congrats to u!!! :yeah:

I am the third alternate at Montgomery. I talked to someone at Montgomery this morning and he said that all campuses should have mailed out their letters Wednesday (if they put them in the mail late on Wednesday, they wouldn't have been mailed until yesterday). He said my chances of getting in at Montgomery are good so I'll keep my fingers crossed. If not, I'll be happy with any campus that accepts me. My second choice was NH. Hopefully I will receive a letter from them today.

Congrats on getting an alternate spot...you'll probably snag an opening quickly.:) My mail hasn't come yet, so now I think I'll go grab a chair and camp out next to the mailbox.;)

Montgomery was my first choice. I got the letter in the mail today. I checked my student e-mail and they didn't send anything to me there. I live really close to Montgomery so I'm probably one of the first to get a letter. They didn't have much info in the packet. There's a letter of intent you have to fill out and bring to the nursing office by April 7. I was hoping for class information, but I guess I'll just have to wait until April 1 when the schedule comes out. Good luck everyone!:)

Thanks that info helps alot!!! If u don't mind me asking what was your total points??? Mine was 11.652 I hope that was enough;)

I got my acceptance letter from Cy-fair this afternoon! I am glad to know that my back-up school accepted me for sure! I am still waiting to hear from UT, my first choice, which I will by the end of next week hopefully.

Good luck to everyone else!

Wow congrats!!! I am so very happy for u it seems that alot of people are getting their letters! Woo hoo for u! ;):nurse:

Congratulations on your acceptance!!!!:yeah: I am getting sooooo nervous here at work, I cant even function properly :uhoh3:. I hope and pray my score is sufficient enough to get accepted.

I want to leave work and drive all the way home to check my mail...Congrats to all getting the acceptance letters. I applied to Cy-fair, so hopefully something will be in the mailbox today.

Did anyone apply to north Harris as their first choice???

I got in!!!!!!!! A huge weight has just been lifted!!

Problem though, it says that the Hep B series must be complete by May 1st, and I'm not supposed to have my last shot until June. June should have been plenty of time, since the Cyfair website says July 1st. I've already got a call in to my doctor to see if it can be moved up...

Congratulations everyone! Is it me or did it seem like it took forevvver to start celebrating our acceptances (and third alternate-you should have no problem!)?

Rosa-My points were 11.82. Someone said on this thread that Montgomery's was 11.5. North Harris is usually 11.1, but drops down quite a bit lower as people get accepted other places.

Congrats lilag! I think we were posting at the same time. My letter to Montgomery said mid-July for the shots to be done. I already called my doctor's office a few weeks ago when I thought I started them too late. They said they could do it in 4 months with no problem. It's not a different shot or anything.

Congrats you guys :)

my point total is 11.74, I hope this helps.
