Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support! I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...
LoneStar hopefuls...WHERE YOU AT?!! :heartbeat
I think we are all getting to analytical with the cut-off point. We really don't know what the exact cut-off is point wise until all applications are accounted for and the ADN staff draw a conclusion. Lets just say that the supposed cut-off was 111.5 last year but dropped to 11.4xx due to people declining. If this is the case, 11.4xx is the cut-off and not 11.5. (good news for me since it's closer to my score) Again, I don't even sure as to what the cut-off is or anyone else is for that matter. At times, it seems that I know more than the RN department secretary. And if the scores for this app. period if lower, great!! again, the lower it goes, the better the chances for me to make it in!!
I do have to say, just about everyone on allnurse will be a fairly good nurse. We all seem to be on top of the game. At least that's what i think.
Montgomery was my first choice. I got the letter in the mail today. I checked my student e-mail and they didn't send anything to me there. I live really close to Montgomery so I'm probably one of the first to get a letter. They didn't have much info in the packet. There's a letter of intent you have to fill out and bring to the nursing office by April 7. I was hoping for class information, but I guess I'll just have to wait until April 1 when the schedule comes out. Good luck everyone!:)

11.56!!?? NOW I am starting to Freak Out. I pray that is not the case with Cy-Fair. I have tried my best for sooo long and if it comes down to .03 points, I will be devestated
I will just have to keep my thoughts and attitude positive, hopefully it will work in my favor. This is my time and I have to stay confident! Good luck to all of us, may the next couple of weeks fly by and may we all get our well deserved acceptance letters!!
