Hey everybody! I just wanted to start a thread where all of us who are beginning the stressful process of worrying over Lonestar admissions can give each other some support! I'm planning on applying to LSC-Montgomery - retaking Psych 2301 in a Second 8 Weeks class to get an*A,* and getting ready to take the HESI in November when Moco's testing opens. I'm freaking out over how much is on the line...must make an *A!* Must blow HESI out of the water!!!!!
Anyway, just wanted to say good luck to everyone as their finishing up their prereqs and preparing for the HESI and ask...
North Harris wasnt my first choice but i got my acceptance letter there today :) so excited to finally start the program!!! :) Congrats to all those who got acceptance letter!!
Congratulations everyone! Is it me or did it seem like it took forevvver to start celebrating our acceptances (and third alternate-you should have no problem!)?
Rosa-My points were 11.82. Someone said on this thread that Montgomery's was 11.5. North Harris is usually 11.1, but drops down quite a bit lower as people get accepted other places.

Congrats lilag! I think we were posting at the same time. My letter to Montgomery said mid-July for the shots to be done. I already called my doctor's office a few weeks ago when I thought I started them too late. They said they could do it in 4 months with no problem. It's not a different shot or anything.
for anyone who is intrested, I created a facebook group for students accepted and planning on attending Lonestar- North Harris nursing program under North Harris nursing students 2010 so we can start getting to know our fellow classmates and get ready for this fall! Im so excited for the journey we are about to start and cant wait to get to know my peers! Congrats too all :)
Congrats bfinch on your acceptance! Do you mind saying what your score was? I'm not able to get to the mailbox til after the basketball game tonight! Just trying to get a feel for the numbers at N.Harris!
Hi, everyone. I got in North Harris which is my second choice. I was also put on alternate list of Montgomery which is my first choice. Now, I am really happy!!
Congrats to Everyone who got in!!!! I went to check my mail and there was nothing.....Yet!! I do live a little farther out than everyone else so I am hoping my letter is on the way!
ok I'm back with the mail. I"M IN !!! I knew it as soon as i saw the letter though. It was too think to be a denial letter. Anyhoo WOOOT!!!!! I"M IN !!!! feels good.
P.S. I applied with a 11.4784, Cy-Fair as my 1st and Tomball as my 2nd
What the letter states:
Dear XXXXX congrats on behalf of XXXX college (and so on)
then it list the 3 steps you need to do.
1.intent to enroll form (included in letter)
2.authorize release of educational record (included in letter)
3.apply and get a background check (printed instruction included)
