Fall 2019 Johns Hopkins MSN: Entry Into Nursing Hopeful

Hey everyone,

I'm currently preparing to apply to JHSON MSN: Entry into nursing program. I was wondering if those of you who are current or former students of the program could share your credentials, GRE Scores, GPA, and experience of being an MSN Entry Into Nursing student. I know that I am asking for a lot. I'm a bit worried that my GPA will not be high enough. Cum GPA is a 3.3 but my prereq GPA is 3.7

Well, considering I didn’t get an email, I’m assuming I got rejected, haha. Congratulations to those who got in! :)

Sometime between DEC 31 - January...I am not sure, because nursingcas doesn't give you a full thumbs up until everything is verified, so I am not quite sure when my application 'fully' went through....

Has anyone else who applied to the Jan 1 (ish) deadline heard back yet ??

My friend talked to them today, and apparently— they are sending some out today but most will be sent by next weekend. They will be sending physical mail as well as likely a phone call and email. So some people will here back sooner. I don’t know how they decide that. Maybe alphabetically? But they said that definitely by next weekend most will have gone out. Also, they said people who are waitlisted will be informed or that status on this same timeline.

Thanks for the info! Does anyone know if decisions are sent by an automated response or is it manually done by admissions? Im just wondering if admission decisions will be released over the weekend or not. Congrats to those who have gotten in!

Yeah they said today they would definitely be sending snail mail notification as well as phone and/or email.
