Fall 2019 Johns Hopkins MSN: Entry Into Nursing Hopeful

Hey everyone,

I'm currently preparing to apply to JHSON MSN: Entry into nursing program. I was wondering if those of you who are current or former students of the program could share your credentials, GRE Scores, GPA, and experience of being an MSN Entry Into Nursing student. I know that I am asking for a lot. I'm a bit worried that my GPA will not be high enough. Cum GPA is a 3.3 but my prereq GPA is 3.7

For those of you who already received your financial aid information--do you mind sharing roughly how much they awarded for grants? I've been applying to outside scholarship's all day and feeling overwhelmed with how I can justify spending so much for my msn.

For people asking about financial aid: You fill out the FAFSA and then they email you with the to-do list of Hopkins and then they send out financial aid awards every Friday ? They are very helpful if you have any questions, just call.

@abcdenrse Hi! I've seen you posting in Columbia SON's thread as well. I'm pretty sure I've decided on JHU, even though I'd be sad to give up the seamless scholarship at CUSON. For the MSN, with scholarships, the COA is the same at both schools for me. I'm wondering where you're at in that decision. Congrats and good luck on deciding!!

I received my email of acceptance on Friday, March 1. I did not receive call.

I AM SO STOKED. Right before I received my acceptance here, I was rejected from Duke. So, I was bummed for at least 1 hour before I saw an email from John Hopkins.

Is there a FB group made for Fall 2019? If so, can someone post a link? If not, can we make one so we can get to know each other? And possibly figure out housing.

@VwBee89 my admissions email came at 4:55 on friday march 1

and other about more financial aid stuff today at about 5pm...

I think they probably send stuff at the end of the day so people ask their questions to the internet instead of immediately blowing up the jhson phones lol
