vanillamocha Jan 18, 2009 Thank you guys very much. I worked hard t get through Nursing school, so I can't let this discourage me. I just keep repeating this to myself "SETBACKS in life are SETUPS for a greater comeback." 0 Likes
vanillamocha Jan 18, 2009 I was reading the application to retake the Nclex and it says a 2hr Medication error course needs ti be completed before you can retake the exam. Does anyone know if that is so? 0 Likes
sydney shaw Jan 18, 2009 I don't believe soI know if you fail 3 times you have to take some kind of remediation course, but you're not required to take that unless you've failed three times 0 Likes

sydney shaw Jan 18, 2009 Didn't know it varied from state to state. In FL you have up to 3 attempts beforehaving to take a remediation course. 0 Likes
caliotter3 Jan 19, 2009 Sorry to hear of your failure. Consider trying Suzanne's plan. You can read about it in the stickies at the top of this forum. Good luck. 0 Likes
vanillamocha Jan 19, 2009 I'm in the state of Florida, maybe I read to application incorrectly. I'll look over it again. 0 Likes
vanillamocha Jan 19, 2009 I did read Suzanne's stickies. I went out and bought the Saunder's 4th edition today but I took my exam 1/14 so it has not been a week yet. I am so tempted to just dive into it again but I am forcing myself to take a break until next week and then start fresh next week Monday. 0 Likes

I took it last Dec31 and got the letter just now (coz there's no quick results for calif) it's a good thing you knew the results earlier.. unlike me that i have to wait for 2weeks to recieve the news...I'm now doing suzanne's tip coz some of my friends advice me to do the same thing..don't worry, if we give all we got this time I know that 3 or 4 months from now, we will have the RN written at the end our names!! Good Luck to us!!:wink2: 0 Likes
