Failed Nclex at 265 questions

Took the Nclex RN on Jan.14, got 265 questions and failed. Really devastated, need help, don't know what to do now. Took Kaplan review.

I did read Suzanne's stickies. I went out and bought the Saunder's 4th edition today but I took my exam 1/14 so it has not been a week yet. I am so tempted to just dive into it again but I am forcing myself to take a break until next week and then start fresh next week Monday.

hi vanilla..u took the exam on Jan 16 and u failed? Does it mean u already recevied the results? bec I took mine on Jan 5, 2009 still no results its been ten agonizing wait....

No, I took it Jan. 14th and I found my results the next day on the florida website. I am in Florida, so I don't know if it's different in other states. Which state are you in?

Ohh sorry to hear that. actually, I also didn't passed the exam.

I took it last Dec31 and got the letter just now (coz there's no quick results for calif) it's a good thing you knew the results earlier.. unlike me that i have to wait for 2weeks to recieve the news...

I'm now doing suzanne's tip coz some of my friends advice me to do the same thing..

don't worry, if we give all we got this time I know that 3 or 4 months from now, we will have the RN written at the end our names!! Good Luck to us!!:yeah::wink2:

Yes if you fail 3 times with Florida you have to do a course as do a few other states but there are just as many that allows unlimited attempts
