4550- Evidence Based Nursing

From looking at the classes starting in fall, I'm guessing that Evidence Based nursing is replacing Research? Anyone have any idea if stats is still required prior to taking this, as it was with Research?

So I guess that the DB in BB is not the same as in Epic. Apparently we loose points for not having hanging indent, double spaces, and paragraph indent?

We aren't getting grades on DB and assignment until Friday according to the announcements. And - didn't I read (at least with my TA) that formatting issues with the DB would not cost us points??

Didirn & rninme, thanks for the update! I saw a post earlier that said they had lost points for not putting a hanging indent on there references

We are not supposed to have points deducted for formatting! Geez...I would question that right away. I was happy to see the 100% for everyone on the quiz this week. Then I felt like they will stick it to us the rest of the way, lol! I sure hope not.

Boy, there is just NO consistency in this class...everyone gets 100% on the quiz last week due to all the mishaps with BB, etc. Grades for last week won't be posted until Friday (unless you're lucky). Corrections to quiz grades will occur...when they do, lol. Good luck everyone!

No consistency because of different TA's -as always! And Week 2 Quiz is up if anyone is ready to try it! Waiting until the weekend - this week has been a walk through the fire so far.

Apparently I had the hanging indent for my main post and one of my replies, however, my last reply did not have hanging indent on the reference. They did not subtract for formatting on the main body of the post.

Taking quiz now...I am going on a road trip in a few hours...so have to get it done.

How confusing is that?!! No telling what she'll do to mine! Good luck on that test. I have plans as well so have to finish up Friday.
