4550- Evidence Based Nursing

From looking at the classes starting in fall, I'm guessing that Evidence Based nursing is replacing Research? Anyone have any idea if stats is still required prior to taking this, as it was with Research?

I don't have one lousy grade yet. I have such a dreadful feeling about this class. Anyone heard if they tend to curve? I was told high fail rate...and of course anything below a B(80%) is failing!:bowingpur

Amazing how the student experience is tied to the TA. They can make it or break it for students. Hang in there. I was worried about wk 1 grades, and it turned out OK.

But quiz 2 has me scared for sure.:uhoh3:

Hope you are having a wonderful time! I haven't been to Mt. Rushmore in years - on the last big trip I took west of the Mississippi. Eerie place, sometimes you can 'feel' the history.

Happy Friday! Just checked and I have grades for Mod 1. Received all the points for my DB posting but lost 1 point for the lit search assignment because I did not indent the second line of my references. Stupid mistake on my part, I should know better at this point. The quiz grade hasn't been changed to 100% yet, not sure when that will happen. Today I will be doing the DB posting and taking the quiz. I'm not looking forward to the quiz, but who is? Have a great weekend everyone!

Wow...you are so right about "feeling" the history. This is my first trip here. It really is quite amazing. Seeing lots of animals along the way. Going to see mammoth bones today. Got lucky and saw a night blast at the Crazy Horse mountain carving. They only have it twice a year at night.

Hang in there. Keep that textbook by your side!

I can't figure out at what point I'm ready to take the quiz. I'm just re-reading the same 'ol stuff...I hope I pass this course. okay, deep breath...

I just finished the quiz. I thought it was harder than last weeks quiz but I actually got a better score on this one. (By one point) Now to work on the DB posting, which I'm actually dreading, and wishing I hadn't waited until the last day to do it.

Hmmm...harder seems to be the theme I'm hearing. Might as well get it over with. As far as the DB posts I have to do those first thing after reading the chapters. I just can't stand them hanging over me...good luck!

Goodluck to those taking the quiz. Haven't had time to review at all so I won't be tackling that puppy until Sunday. One more night at work this week ....

Just took my test....Can't believe how hard it was. Here I've been planning on going for my Master's and now I am really having second thoughts. Maybe I will take all my time to travel instead :)
