Hi,
I was just wondering what people's views on these ever popular 'ghostwriting' services are. It would seem that with the stress of clinical placement, tutorials, and academic work students are finding less and less time to write essays and exam papers.
I work for a couple of companies and write this type of academic paper and even though I do it, I sometimes feel a pang of guilt at how the work may be being wrongly used once I submit it??
What are people's views on this?
Cheers

It's plagiarism - which is against the academic policy of every accredited college and university.
More importantly - why would one want to deprive one's self of the learning that comes from writing a research paper?
The things I truly remember and understand are the things I have written about. Professors don't assign papers because the enjoy grading them - they assign them because the are an excellent teaching tool. If one's degree is mean anything one really ought to do the work.
If work, the kids, the housecleaning etc are too much then drop the class and take it when you have time to learn!
Well I actually run my own business tutoring students by email and checking work and just generally steering them in the right direction.I remember as a student getting diddly squat help so the people I mentor get help from a nurse who understands their plight too.
I actually get a great deal of satisfaction knowing I can be of help and let them actually do the work themselves!

There's a HUGE difference between "mentoring" (and assisting in any variety of ways) versus WRITING a paper for someone.
In addition to nursing, I have a background in business/MIS and English. I am GREAT at writing papers. I also smoke papers and friends often ask for my "help." There is also a service at my university (through the English department) that "helps" students write/revise their papers. When my husband, sister, or friends need "help" with their papers, that's exactly what I give them: I review their papers, correct their grammar/ spelling/ punctuation, etc., guide them on proper APA format... that sort of thing. I do EXACTLY what the writing center on campus does. I don't change the content of their paper in any way. Big difference between the two.
Yup - troll it is.Silly me. On further reflection I should have seen it.
Me too. And if this person really does ghostwrite papers, I hope s/he proofreads them better than his error-riddled OP.
Yes, I'm aware that my posts are typically error-riddled, too, but alas, no one has ever paid me for writing them, lol!
Does this really happen? Companies who write essays for students? I have heard of people who ask for essays from students from previous years to " give them an idea on how to set it out". I never hand out even these essays.
What is the point of having assignments if someone else does them for you? You don't learn. I worked bloody hard to get my degree. I don't think anyone has the right to cheat, because that is what it is...

Hey guys, what can you expect from someone who "borrows" a trademarked product name for their own business use. Seems integrity and originality are not high on the list of priorities.
If a student hands in work they personally did not do, they are committing fraud and/or plagiarism. If they can't handle the course work, how do they think they will survive in the real world where stressors abound?
No matter how people try to rationalize unethical behavior, cheating is cheating. Tying shoes on a snake doesn't give it feet.
