Enter your TEAS V Scores here!!

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

Since ATI provides no student assistance to interpret scores, let's help each other! If enough of us enter our complete TEAS scores, we'll be able to compare notes to see how we rank in different programs, what to aim for if your school requires a Program percentile rank rather than a series of scores, etc. There is another thread where people are sharing their scores, but it looks like most people are just sharing their Adjusted Individual Total Score or whatever applies to their particular school. By sharing all the info, we can help each other better.

Please copy the scores below and then change them to your own, in your post! thanks! Please make sure to check your Program Type! It's right under the name of the school where you took it, on your score sheet.

Great job, Futurenurseshelly! What program(s) are you applying to?

Thank you! I actually retook it today because I needed more points for my dream school, and made my goal - 96 :)

I'm only applying to 2 programs for the spring, CSU Sacramento as a second bachelors student, and University of San Francisco as an entry level masters.

How long does it take to get your results? I am taking a paper and pencil exam this friday and need my results by NEXT thursday. Will I have enough time?? Lets say they are posted on Thursday, if i send it to the school will they get it in time?

You could send your teas score directly from ati to your school. they do it via email or so, electronically so it should be quick.

I am just wondering... Does anyone know how they adjust the scores. My scores in reading and science adjusted down, which I think is odd. If you think about it, that means that they are giving out a test to some students that is too easy so they take their score and lower it during adjustment. It just doesn't seem right. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with my scores, but I just think the scoring is strange.

Yeah, I was adjusted down in reading and science too. Both times I took it. My overall score was adjusted down as well. It seems like they have some formula for how hard they think the form you get is and adjust your score accordingly. Doesn't seem fair to me.

*Edit: actually, it looks like my reading and science scores were adjusted down the first time I took it, but not the second time. I missed two questions in the reading section both times, and the first time it was 92.9 and the second time was 95.2. However, both times my overall score was adjusted down, but the first time was more (by 1.4%) than the second time (0.7%). I wonder how it works.. especially since now I realized that my individual scores were not adjusted the second time, but were the first time. So weird.

@ meowmeownrse For the Science section study from the ATI manual but go DEEPER. This is why I say it is random because it pulls deep information that isn't so clean and perfect like it is on the ATI manual example questions (where the answer is found in the short explanation). Know some more basic gas laws, know your biology well! I did fairly well in my science courses so I just had to do a little review. Go to things like crashcourse and Khan Academy on youtube to help you with reviewing chemistry and biology. =) The forum with rainbowvahmet was my study guide and I think it should be for anyone =). Give yourself at minimum 2 weeks to do many tests as possible. I did 8 tests ( 5 mgraw + 2 ati test + 1 online test) in total within 2 weeks for prep. I think probably a month of studying for an hour- to 2 hrs each day would do the job of getting an exemplary score. =D

Great advice

Took the TEAS over the weekend! Trying to resist the urge to retake it for a higher score! English and Language Usage? What in the world?!?!

That is a fantastic score! I would not retake it if I was you because you may end up scoring lower if perhaps you get a harder version of the test.

Just finished my test. Life and earth science tripped me up a bit, but the rest was fairly straight-forward.
