Congrats! This is a HUGE accomplishment, that many never are able to complete. You are an example of what hard work, self sacrifice, and healing can produce. Good luck with you career and your education.

WOOOHHOOOO!!!!! THIS is the kind of stuff I like to read. I myself am a recovering addict and the battle is NEVER ending. I'm so proud of you for hanging in there and doing what had to be done. Admitting to one's problems is hard...trust me I know! The feelings of disgrace and shame are so painful in that moment but the mental release of that garbage brings so much peace. Don't stop attending meetings, seeking your Higher Power, meditating/praying, and just working on YOURSELF. I wish you ALL the best in 2015 and WAY TO GO!
Thanks all I think this is just like picking up a chip it lets others know there is hope and if it worked for 1 person it can also work for you. I woke up smiling this and my wife asked why, I replied I do not have to check in with First Lab today or any other day, I am a free man.
