I felt very burnout by the middle of november. I was going through so many emotions during the pass semester. I remember feeling sad one moment to being happy. I truly believe that the first semester of nursing was overwhelming to say the less. I am so happy for the break, but also I am really exicted to start second semester. Congrats to all that made it through the stressful times!!
Oh yess I'm experiencing burnout. My last 2 days are MOnday and Tuesday in which I have my Med-surg and Pediatrics final. I should be studying now, but I can't go any further. I gave my all and I'm sooo burned out. My friends are calling me going over material and I'm like so over it right now. I'm a nursing fanatic, but nursing school can drain the life out of you. I need a long vacation :tbsk:
I agree with the OP, do very well on all "module" or periodic exams so that you do not have to obtain a prescription of Xanax to complete your finals. I was relieved when I learned I only really need 20's and 30's on my final exams to pass the classes. I strived for higher than that, of course...but its nice to know that you have some lee way.

Hello everyone and congrats on completing your fall sememster. The road was hard but we made it.
Did anyone else besides me suffer from end of the semester burnout?
I sure did....it was so bad that I did not really study....I did worse on all my of final exams ( B's to be exact) but still ended up with an A's for the courses
So here is my advice: Do extremely well in the begining so that you can have a LITTLE break at the end. :)
I LOVE NURSING SCHOOL :redbeathe:saint::heartbeat:yeah:
