I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally passed my nclex-rn. This was my second attempt for the boards. I am a living testimony to all of those out there who are preparing to take the NCLEX-RN -or- LPN boards again. My first attempt was with the total of 112 questions ( and failed). I was so devestated, but I had to scrape myself up off the floor and somehow muster up some strength to pick up those books again.
Thank God, I did........
My second attempt, I had 75 questions which comprised of 30 SATA questions( that is the most I have ever read on this forum). I passed
and I am so thankful to God I have made it, I am an R.N.
I want to encourage anyone out there reading this post and is preparing to test again( no matter what the number), YOU CAN DO IT!!! No one can tell you that you can't. Do it for you first and for noone else. Believe in yourself, pick yourself off the floor and muster up some strength, because you worked so hard to finish and graduate the nursing program, you will do it!!!!
I am sorry for the long post, but I hope that this post will touch someone's heart to get back up on their feet again, and give fighting for that license another chance with great hope:up:.
-If anyone needs any advice or just some uplifting, please feel free to pm me. We can do it, JUST DON'T GIVE UP, YOU'VE COME TOO FAR........

:ancong!::ancong!::ancong!: Nothing can compare to the satisfaction you receive from a job well done. When the problems have been solved and the difficult tasks have been completed, you know without a doubt that you've created something of real value.
Any difficult challenge can seem a bit overwhelming when you first encounter it. Yet as you begin to work on it, you transform it from overwhelming to fulfilling.
The confidence you gain from a job well done cannot be obtained in any other way. And that confidence will still be with you long after the work has been completed.
The real value of accomplishment is not in the having. It is in the doing.
Success is a state of mind, and the most reliable way to reach that state of mind is by working through a meaningful challenge. What a blessing it is that there is always work to be done.
Step willingly forward and take on those tasks that you know will make a difference. And enjoy the continuing benefits that flow from a job well done. :hpygrp::hpygrp::hpygrp:

I wish I was already an RN by now. I am freaking out because I have to pass my NClex by August 8 in order to move to California and start the residency program September 8. I think for that reason I will only have one chance to take it and pass. I really need to get my butt studying!! I am just a nervous wreck though!!

Congratulations on your success and your wonderful words of encouragement. I am sure every bit of struggle you encountered is worth those initials after your name!
Can I ask what you did differently this time around? I have started studying again and got my ATT on Friday. I am thinking this time of Kaplan and Suzanne's plan. What worked for you?
