I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally passed my nclex-rn. This was my second attempt for the boards. I am a living testimony to all of those out there who are preparing to take the NCLEX-RN -or- LPN boards again. My first attempt was with the total of 112 questions ( and failed). I was so devestated, but I had to scrape myself up off the floor and somehow muster up some strength to pick up those books again.
Thank God, I did........
My second attempt, I had 75 questions which comprised of 30 SATA questions( that is the most I have ever read on this forum). I passed
and I am so thankful to God I have made it, I am an R.N.
I want to encourage anyone out there reading this post and is preparing to test again( no matter what the number), YOU CAN DO IT!!! No one can tell you that you can't. Do it for you first and for noone else. Believe in yourself, pick yourself off the floor and muster up some strength, because you worked so hard to finish and graduate the nursing program, you will do it!!!!
I am sorry for the long post, but I hope that this post will touch someone's heart to get back up on their feet again, and give fighting for that license another chance with great hope:up:.

Have a look at Suzanne's plan, all information can be found in the sticky called 2008 version of Suzanne's plan and is free. You need at least 45 days from finishing the first tip before sitting the exam.
Also can we ask that you do not post in text as it makes hard reading plus we try to keep things professional on the boards
well i needed to read that..... i took it tuesday.... i have a horrible feeling..... those questions NEVER got easier I was a total wreck.. now my fellow student who also took it Tuesday has posted, her RN license... not me...we both left feeling we bombed it.. both had 75 questions..... but i really had a bad feeling, and never got any question I liked, nor was positive on... kept thinking when will it get easier.... was TOTALLY stressed out.....i couldnt even tell you what questions were on it..... UNBELIEVABLE....... so I figure I failed it.... called the state. she was nice said check agian tomorrow.. but i cant believe they didnt post all of them that passed on the same day...... so, your post was good cause i have to do it again Im pretty sure and where i will get the muster to do that I have NO IDEA.. i did fine in nursing school -all a's and bs, and real well on the practice test the school gave us at the end of each semester but I swear to you i knew NOTHING on that test Tuesday, and now i dont know how to study for it again.....
Who is starting the NCLEX JUNE GROUP? I loved this April group...even if i mostly lurked and did not find it till the end of the month..... I am going to need this to muster up the strenghth to re-test...... I cant re-test till June..... dont feel the May group is as warm and friendly and supportive as this one was... and want to get in early on JUNE group...... I need to know how to start a June group.... anyone know??

That's funny, I feel the same way about May group. To start a JUNE group you probably just need to post a new post.
I Can identify myself with you, just learned today that I passed, I'm still in desbelief ,had so many SATA questions too, can't remember the number and on my way back I remember reading your post and I told myself it must be a good sign so thank you and I'll join you in encouraging everybody preparing, Guys YOU CAN DO IT.
