i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

Does anyone know anything about Brookhaven? I haven't seen much about it.

Supposedly, they have earned awards already...at least that is what I have read. (On their website????) From actual nursing students I met while taking Micro at Brookhaven, I haven't heard anything negative about the program.

I really like being at the hospital. After I complete this semester, I will go and work at either Harris or Arlington Memorial as a PCT. They give more responsibilites to nursing students who have completed the first semester.

This sounds good. I can't wait to start clinicals and use my skills. :clown:

Our P/A check off got moved to Monday!

We had our PA check off today. Everybody passed from my group, but nobody made 100. It's easy to forget one or two little thing. I forgot to check Homan and coughing. Fortunately, these worth only 2 points, so I still have a good grade.

We have our meds check off Monday and Tuesday. I am going to go on Monday to finish it as fast as possible.

BTW, I took NCLEX last Tuesday and I found out on Thurs that I passed so there is life after Nursing school no matter how stressful it is!

Yep, I am going to apply to NLC just to cover my bases. We are not 100% sure where we will land in August!

Do you happen to know what the lecture will be that you're watching tomorrow? I was going to go sit in his class but I wasn't sure if it was something we've already been lectured over. He said it was for THR students so I thought I could ask you! :)
