Hey Jenn and Allison!!!
I am looking forward to meeting all of you!!! My name is Christy. I am sooooooooo excited to be starting in January. I can't wait to finally take a nursing course. I'm currently taking my last support course (Micro) and History (for my BSN). See you all soon:)
Anyone else out there?
Hi Christy and Jenn!!!
Can you believe they are already giving us homework with that math test??!! I think I am going to try to take the test before school starts just to have at least given it a try. I don't understand the conversions and I can't find that book anywhere that is required for that class. :uhoh21:
Did anyone have the map of the hospitals in their packet? They said there was supposed to be one included but mine didn't have one
I don't know about y'all but this has been a GREAT weekend :)
I hope y'all have a wonderful week!! :)
Hi everyone!! I will be taking that class before the semester starts so I can get some help with the math and take the test early. Once school is out this semester, I will be really studying for that math test. I want to pass it the first time so than I don't have to worry about it later on. That book is at amazon.com It does not have the exact date but everything else is correct with the info they gave us.
I also didn't get any map of the hospitals. The only hospitals that I see in the whole packet is when they did the rough draft of the classes and clinicals and all. ????

Hi Guys,
I will be attending Northlake. We will follow the El Centro degree plan, so I consider myself an El Centro student, too. Can I join?
I want to take the math test as soon as possible, too.
My orientation is on November 15. I already have a lot of questions about the math test, scrubs, books...
:) Katie
Hi Katie!! Of course you can join! Won't you be getting the degree from El Centro? Not sure how that satallite program works. Our orientation is on Nov. 17th. I noticed we can buy scrubs on that day too. I am really nervous about that math test!! Will you be going to one of those math courses before the semester starts? Congrats to you!!

Thanks.
I will be getting the degree from El Centro and there will be an El Centro logo on my scrubs.
I want to take the extra math class and pass the test this year.
Question:
How do you choose your hospital?
I have no idea how I should prioritize the hospitals. I don't know anything about them. Well, I can look up their location and choose the closest one, but I would like to know more.

Hi guys.
Congrats on the letter.
I haven't gotten mine yet, but I saw the cutoff GPA, and I am pretty confident.
I am hoping for Northlake.
Did they give St Paul, Baylor Irving or Las Colinas Medical Center as a choice in the letter? Those are the hospitals I would like first semester.
Nope.
Presbyterian, Medical Center of Plano 2X, Charlton Methodist, VA Medical Center.
