Hi,
So I'm a nursing student going into my second year clinical. I need to buy a few more scrub sets.
I was wondering where other people buy theirs. I bought a set at Mark Work Warehouse but it was about $50 for one set. I love the set, but I'm sure I can get just as good (or better) for less money.
So, what do you guys suggest? I have been considering Accuwear or ICU (incredibly comfortable uniform) but I am willing to hear of other places.

Try the Giant Tiger. Pants are $7-14 and tops are about the same. They have a good selection of sizes and colours/prints.
Oh, and try the hospital. I know RAH used to sell scrubs (minus the logo) for a fairly reasonable price. Haven't thought about it lately, but I think it was through the laundry service or housekeeping (a nursing instructor told us about that source)

Have you thought about mail-order? Scrubs Canada dot com sells reasonably priced name-brand scrubs, have really great sales and super-quick shipping.

Walmart and Giant Tiger are where I get mine.
And they toss in matching scrunchies and tote bags:cool:

There's a scrubs store in Mill Woods Town Centre Mall - not sure what it's called though, sorry... it's across from Studio Nails, I believe.

Keep looking in at marks they tend to go on sale.
I have gotten a few decent pairs at walmart. They are not as flattering as marks... But they are cheap.

Daily Scrubs .ca. I've bought all Koi pants, because theirs are the best in terms of being both comfortable and flattering. I buy my scrub tops at Giant Tiger and sometimes Marks.

At ICU you can get three pairs of scrubs for $99 (just not the fancy ones!)
I have been hearing good things about Giant Tiger but I have yet to check them out...

I also buy all my scrubs online through Dailyscrubs.ca. I'm out in the middle of nowhere. You receive your srubs within 10 days.

Have you tried Value Village? I always find TONS of scrubs there. all in good quality and very cheap (which is what you want as a student)
Are you handy with a sewing machine? Most fabric stores sell patterns for scrubs too!
Army and Navy also sells scrubs
There are two A&N Boutiques in Edmonton. Their scrub selection is seriously bad. Ten years ago, they had a great selection, no it's terrible.
Giant Tiger is the way to go.
