And so far, many many more people have died in the USA from influenza than from ebola.

Yup the vaccine really helped this year....
I heard on NPR this morning that it wasn't particularly effective this year against this nasty strain, unless I was half asleep and didn't comprehend correctly (always an option at that time of the day).
