HI, I WOULD LIKE TO START A THREAD REGARDING THE EB3 PRIORITY DATES(PD) MOVEMENT.
If february's PD is up to JAN 2014, prediction for next month might be a 7 month jump again to AUGUST 2014.
Then by APRIL, it can be CURRENT.
what are your thoughts on this? maybe we can update or give advice for those who want to pursue their AMERICAN DREAM.
yes i have read that, but I need my visa screen cert it's still on renewal process, and I dont think I could make it home before the given cut off date. So i just have to wait for my PD to be current again.
Does this mean that you still need a valid visa screen even when your PD is current already? Does this mean you can't schedule your embassy interview without a valid visa screen?
visa screen cert. should be valid upon embassy interview to avoid delay in visa issuance. Visa wont be given until you have a valid vs cert. Embassy appointments are only given when your PD is current. In my case, my appointment for May is cancelled since my PD is no longer current. As long as your PD is current and you have completed your packet 3, regardless of visa screen cert status, you can have your embassy appointment per NVC notice.

I thought if pd was current and you was asked to make appointment with embassy then the visa is still there for you. Have you spoken to a lawyer?
i hope it's like that but it's not. Here's the notice from manila US embassy about the retrogression:
Retrogression of E3/EW Cut-Off Dates
The May 2015 Visa Bulletin announced that due to a recent increase in demand, the Employment E3/EW Visa Category priority dates will retrogress to July 01, 2007.
We have waived the requirement for making an appointment for a visa interview for those who are affected by the retrogression (priority dates on or after July 01, 2007) and have never been interviewed. Once applicants have all the required documents and have completed the medical examinations at St. Luke's Extension Clinic, they may come to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Check-in Counter on any workday between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. from April 15, 2015 through April 28, 2015 for the visa interview.
For E3/EW applicants who have been interviewed and need to complete additional documentary requirement(s): You may submit pending document(s) to the Immigrant Visa Unit via email to [email protected] or [email protected], fax (+632) 301-2591 or any branch of 2GO courier (Attn: Immigrant Visa Section) with your case number and complete name clearly indicated.
Please take note that if your visa application is affected by this retrogression and you are unable to complete the documentary and medical requirements by April 28, 2015, the U.S. Embassy will not be able to issue you a visa until your priority date becomes current. Therefore, if you cannot meet all the requirements within this short timeframe, we recommend that you refrain from incurring medical examination, travel, and other expenses pertaining to your visa application.
For E3/EW applicants who the National Visa Center (NVC) scheduled for May interviews: The NVC will soon send out an email notification that your May appointment has been canceled. However, if you are documentarily ready, including your medical exam, you may avail yourself of the walk-in appointments that we have made available through April 28. If you are unable to complete the process by April 28, the NVC will contact you when a visa becomes available based on your priority date, and reschedule your appointment.
For E3/EW applicants with current priority dates: You may follow the regular process for scheduling a visa interview through the Visa Information and Appointment Service Center.
The cut-off date for the Employment E3/EW category was advanced very rapidly in an effort to generate sufficient demand to fully utilize all available numbers. The current rate of increase in demand has required the said retrogression in an attempt to hold number use within the annual limit for this preference category.
We understand that applicants wish to have visas issued as soon as possible. However, U.S. immigration law requires that visa numbers be made available in order of priority date and within the annual numerical limit. If this retrogression affects you, the National Visa Center or the Embassy will contact you as soon as your priority date becomes current to continue processing your visa application and update any documents that have expired.

I'm so sorry. That had to sting; so close yet so far away.
