EB3 MOVEMENT 2015---for those who want to pursue their US application.

Published

HI, I WOULD LIKE TO START A THREAD REGARDING THE EB3 PRIORITY DATES(PD) MOVEMENT.

If february's PD is up to JAN 2014, prediction for next month might be a 7 month jump again to AUGUST 2014.

Then by APRIL, it can be CURRENT.

what are your thoughts on this? maybe we can update or give advice for those who want to pursue their AMERICAN DREAM.

search around, so many are hiring for US: ADEX, IPAMS, MEDPRO, AVANT, HEALTH CAROUSEL/PASSPORT USA, WORLDWIDE HEALTH/HEALTHSTAFF.ORG

Hi! thanks for your response shulace :) If I am right, your agency for both USA AND UK is only one and that is IPAMS? I am planning to apply too for a job in the USA while in the UK same as yours :) I just hope there are still slots or job hiring interviews available.

Did you first have the USA job offer or the ones from the UK? :)

Thank you! :)

No actually for US it's IPAMS and for UK it's Alliance. Send your cv to IPAMS and have them put you on the list for their US employers.

I was recruited for the US first, though IPAMS also encourged me to apply for their UK client, they saw that I already had the UKVI IELTS and that's probably why. If I hadn't passed the interview i would went straight for UK. But i had to focus on NCLEX and didn't wanna overburden myself by trying to do a lot of diffrent things all at one time. So after passing NCLEX and getting documents filed I sent my CV out to different agencies that were hiring for the UK. So here I am lurking in the AN forum for information... waiting for a DL from NMC and waiting for my turn at the long long.. long line at the US embassy.

Thanks for that chris_NC0112

Just to verify that my assumptions re correct, being a nurse, we're under third preference? And the date for that is what i should be watching right?

PD is the date your application was accepted and your application in most cases is EB3 so just keep an eye on dates under place of birth

Oh ok. :) Actually, when I was hired by the UK employer, my focus is of course to do everything: process NMC full assessment etc. But now, as I have seen a lot about job hiring in the USA, I came into realization that I shouldn't neglect/ignore being a US-RN since it's been a long time since I have passed the exam. Actually, my US license was already expired so I hope this won't matter once I start my job application since some recruitment agencies offer assistance lol

As for the tedious NMC process, I feel you. I just resubmitted one of the barcoded forms this week. I called the NMC office and asked for the reason why the required document needs to be resubmitted and the staff said: it was missing. (sigh) I guess I will be waiting for another + + weeks/months.

Hope we could exchange more of information regarding our job application. You can email me at: [email protected]

Many thanks again! :) and best of luck to all of us! :)

Oh my god that's horrible. They lost your document?! I have to pay 2,500 php to fed ex the documents to them. So that's 2,500 php for documents from school, the documents from PRC, then another 2,500 for the reference letters and declaration of good health. So that's 7,500, equivalet to about 160 USD and then for them to lose it and to have to pay to send it to them again.. horrible.

We're planning for the same thing.. but who knows, in the end I might just stay in the UK if they let me..

@shulace: indeed. NMC is not yet organized when it comes to their licensure process. I guess, it is because it only started in 2014. I hope that they will improve more so that we wouldn't be wasting a lot ( i mean a LOT ) and those future applicants would not suffer the same situation as ours.

So many were caught off guard (for a good reason) with the 1 yr jump on Visa Bulletin for those from EB3 Philippines. I guess it's time to ensure that your documents are still valid especially Visa Screen.

hi everyone

i am under eb3 philippines and my priority date is now current. Please enlighten me about the need for affidavit of support and financial evidence. Does my employer/petitioner need to accomplish these things and send it to me so i can send everything in one package to nvc? I am really confused, i hope you can help me my fellow nurses.

My understanding is your employer needs to do this with their lawyer and supply you with copies to take to your interview

AOS is the petitioner's responsibility, once that is done, you will then be advised to send your docs to NVC or through your agency
