  1. I am a BSN,RN from Philippines with a 4 years experience in the emergency room. I just got here in Illinois last September and started working on October under my employer/petitioner in a skilled nursing facility/rehabilitation center. I have tried to apply in several hospitals but only got few responses and was declined for a job offer since I have only been working here in the US for a couple of months. Is it really that hard to apply without having at least a year of nursing experience here in US? What is the best thing to do if I don't really want to stay longer working in a nursing home? Any advice?
  2. Year 2015, my PD got current but unfortunately, I was one of those who got affected by the retrogression after I have passed my civil documents to NVC. After a few months, I received an email saying that they have received the documents I sent them and I should wait for their advice until my PD gets current again. Another months have passed, I received an email that says I should send the necessary documents to NVC. In my confusion, I have emailed NVC back because I have already sent them those documents and on their response mentioned to disregard the message if it was already done. So that's what I did. So I waited until my PD gets current and I was assuming that I would resume my application from where I stopped, which was the interview schedule assignment. Surprisingly, when my PD got current I received an email that says I should send the required papers such as civil documents and affidavit of support together with the coversheet attached. I no longer asked NVC why, I just processed the papers immediately and hoping to send it to NVC again before May. There's just something that kept bothering me, the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT and FINANCIAL EVIDENCE. Do I need to ask my employer to accomplish it and send it to NVC together with my civil documents as one package?
  3. hi everyone i am under eb3 philippines and my priority date is now current. Please enlighten me about the need for affidavit of support and financial evidence. Does my employer/petitioner need to accomplish these things and send it to me so i can send everything in one package to nvc? I am really confused, i hope you can help me my fellow nurses.
