Duke ABSN Spring 2015

Anyone else applying to Duke's ABSN program for Spring 2015? As we're approaching the application deadline, I thought it would be great to get a conversation started. If anyone is currently in the program, I would love to hear your thoughts about the program as well.

The waiting is making me nuts! I just want to know so I can plan my next move. This is worse than waiting in a doctor's office. :(

I was told not to bank on receiving it via email. Admissions decisions will be up via the application portal (see previous pages for the link I provided). Only days from now will the admitted students receive an email from Nora concerning Duke Days. So, moral to the story, there won't be a notification! Just keep driving yourself crazy by hitting refresh in the portal.

I can't check again until 1pm as I'm away from my computer, but hopefully this is for the best and decisions are up by then. Good luck, all!!!

Bluegirl! I know the feeling. I have a lot of decisions hinging on this decision :eek: If I dont get in my plan is to work my way towards living on the coast and working in a hospital. This is my last attempt to be a nurse, I am okay with this decision. My previous degree is very useful! So just as homelife suggested... keep pressing refresh hahaha

I heard that we would receive an email with instructions on how to open our admission decisions. At this point I just want a straight answer, YES or NO!

People want to go to nursing school but this is just torture. I almost wonder if it's worth it. :(

We've been painting today. I purposely did it to keep my mind off of waiting...it's not working. Lol in the past I think it's always been posted at the very end of the day. Anyone know where in the portal we would look? Will it just be there on the first page once available?
