Duke ABSN Spring 2015

Anyone else applying to Duke's ABSN program for Spring 2015? As we're approaching the application deadline, I thought it would be great to get a conversation started. If anyone is currently in the program, I would love to hear your thoughts about the program as well.

Yeah today is a doozy, assuming that it is not up now I think it would be safe to say it will show up at the end of the day (but when is the end of their day? 5PM or Midnight?) I went on a long bike ride and went berry picking just to get out of the house, and it doesn't help that friends and family keep checking in on me to see if I got in...

myischmo - I think it would be in the notification part of the first page, but I am not 100% sure

Hey! Been stalking this page for a while but it's my first time commenting.

The waiting is driving me ABSOLUTELY crazy! I even got to leave work early and for the first time in my life I wish I hadn't! I'm guessing (hoping) we'll hear around 5. Good luck everyone!!

I thought FOR SURE decisions would be up first thing this morning @ 8am. Now I'm wondering if they will even be available by 5pm. Yeesh. All this waiting is driving me crazy. They better not pull what they did with the application deadline of extending the time frame of when decisions will be up.

Hi guys! I'm new to this group. I also applied for the Spring 2015 ABSN program. I just called the SON office and she said decisions did go out today, but that it may take a little time for this to go through in the system. She said that in the application status box (the one to the right on your self service page), there will be a change. You'll see something that says something like "Your Admission Decision." She said if you haven't heard by Monday, give them a call (I know, more waiting). It sounds like this just takes some time to update on their application system. Good luck to everyone!

Man that stinks, I hope it happens fast. Booking flights for Duke days is going to get expensive once inside the 2 week window. I wonder if they will just tell us over the phone or via email? Can't really afford to wait another weekend.

Hi all, I just joined the group. I have also applied for Spring 2015 ABSN. So no one has a decision? I've been on pins and needles since the webinar and the past three days have been pure torture! When my financial aid went into suspension, it took several days for the "system update." I find it frustrating, but trying to stay positive. What does everyone's box on the right look like? Mine has no to do items and no notifications, just links to see if they have received my transcripts (they have) and test scores (I didn't have to take the GRE). The other link is to change my personal info. That's all there is. I had to call to be sure they had my references. Good luck to everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm also new to the thread, but have been lurking for the last few days. I'm from the west coast so I haven't been tortured for nearly as long as some of you. I called Nora about 2 hours ago and she said there seems to be an error with with the portal system that is delaying our application status but she is trying to figure it out. She said we should be notified today! Good luck to everyone!
