Duke ABSN Spring 2015

Anyone else applying to Duke's ABSN program for Spring 2015? As we're approaching the application deadline, I thought it would be great to get a conversation started. If anyone is currently in the program, I would love to hear your thoughts about the program as well.

Hi, Everyone: I just got my email notification! I am in!!! I might be the oldest in the cohort! But i am super excited to be a nurse in the future! I will choose July 25, Friday to duke day! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!

My personal page still doesn't show that I an accepted, but I have an email congratulating me on my acceptance and to rsvp for Duke Days! Looks like I'm in! Now to figure out how to pay for it! Anyone else get an email?? I'm so happy!

Hi all, were the emails individualized or more like a group message?

It was personalized enough to say "Dear _______" and then the rest was the generic copy+paste message standard in letters of acceptance or rejection. It was sent from [email protected]. My gmail account moved it to my Promotions/Social folder.

Hi, All, My personal application page did not update either. The email should be personal since the individual name is there! Congrats all!

Congrats to all! Just found out, I got in! Now I just have to pick a Duke Day, leaning towards the Monday one. I can't wait to meet everyone!

Check your spam folders. Search your e-mail folders for that e-mail I provided. Sometimes e-mails have a funny way of slipping through the cracks and hiding away. Hoping it's good news for you!!

Yes, like a form letter with a name pasted in. I don't know when the self service pages will update, but the email I got was the last thing I expected!
