Duke ABSN Spring 2015

Anyone else applying to Duke's ABSN program for Spring 2015? As we're approaching the application deadline, I thought it would be great to get a conversation started. If anyone is currently in the program, I would love to hear your thoughts about the program as well.

hey guys, I've been stalking this page the last few days and decided I'd comment :) I got in for this spring so hopefully I'll meet some of you at Duke Days! For those of you who haven't heard yet, I applied for fall and got wait-listed but they did email me. They'll email you regardless of the decision so don't lose hope just because you haven't gotten one yet!

Anixon, I'm starting a nursing program in August at another university, and I don't think the first round of invites for the waitlist come out until some time in August. I've been awarded scholarships and my supplies, scrubs, etc are all due to be ordered by Tuesday. I can't take the chance of giving up my spot for Duke. It will take me two and a half years since they dont have nursing classes in the summer, but I'll have BSN either way.

Hi guys! I found out I got in this morning and am ecstatic. I never received the email so I had to have Nora resend it--don't be discouraged for those of you who haven't heard! Can't wait to meet you all at Duke Days.

Ugh, I am sorry to those of you still in limbo! Fingers crossed....with all the technical difficulties Duke seems to be having, it seems there is still hope! My portal page STILL doesn't reflect the admissions decision!
