Duke ABSN Spring 2015

Anyone else applying to Duke's ABSN program for Spring 2015? As we're approaching the application deadline, I thought it would be great to get a conversation started. If anyone is currently in the program, I would love to hear your thoughts about the program as well.

Yikes! I live 20 minutes North of Durham. It's 7:00 here. I wonder if Nora (or anyone else) will continue to work on it or if we should just hang it up and resign ourselves to an additional weekend of torture?

Ladeebugchick, I'm in NC as well. I'm thinking the same thing. It's 7:18p.m. on a Friday, and it may not be something they can control if it's a portal issue. :(

Hi Fellow ABSN Hopefuls!

Thought I would join-in on the discussion after perusing this site several days ago----what a great site! I, too, have applied to the 2015 Duke ABSN program. I reside in California and when I just returned from shift, at the hospital, I had logged-in to the portal numerous times without success. I read the above posts and it appears like everyone is in the same boat? Surely some notification will be posted shortly? In the meantime, let's take a few deep breaths, enjoy our Friday, and hope that indeed good news is en route! To everyone on this site, I wanted to say, GOOD LUCK & all my best wishes! Hopefully, we will all be meeting soon at Duke Days!

Everyone, check your emails. Was kindly woken up by one today THAT SAID I GOT IN!!!!! It also said my admissions decision should be available via the portal but it's not. Thank god for this email.

Wishing you all the best of luck and can't wait to take this journey with you. Duke is not my first choice but who turns down a Duke admit? I have a lot of options to weigh that I may need help with!
