Hi everyone:

I just wanted to start a fun thread for once (mine are usually venting about my job hehe)...

I'm curious... What would your dream job be if you weren't an RN?

I'll go first: I'd love to own a little boutique by the beach or in a city. I love the idea of owning my own business and I think it would be fun!

anyone else have a dream job? :)

Combat Medic. Might sound stupid to some but I wish if I could go back in time, I would have enlisted straight out of HS and started a military career. I see my friends come back and every single one of them has recounted stories of how amazing their medics were and I have a love of medicine no way around it. Serve our country, save lives, what more could I ask for?

I would own a fish store, and run a dog and cat rescue out of it.

la la la la laaaaaa a singer! i love nursing, but my original dream was to sing for a living. then reality hit- unless your big like beyonce, it is very difficult to support yourself or a family with an undependable singer's salary. so now it's weddings, funerals and church for me...and occasionally singing for a pt when it's appropriate ;).

If I wasn't too old and broken down I'd still seriously consider this. Too late for me though, no one wants someone in my condition. Our almost 15 year old has been talking about going into the Army for the last several years, so maybe he'll get to do it. :)
