You should get a print out on how you did in areas, How did you study the last time?

i feel you.. i failed to.. just found out yesterday.. it was my 1st time btw.. its just so depressing that after all that effort you put on something, and you still end up failing.. nyways, what does not kill you, only makes u stronger ryt? dont let this keep u from getting up again.. there's alway a "next tym".. good luck to us!!

I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I took my boards the first time and failed with 75 questions... i knew I failed when I walked out of there the second i had 243 questions and felt a lot better about everything but i still didn't pass.. i currently am studying for the third time around. It is hard to build up confidence but i know thats what I have to do because I struggle with that and get very anxious. When God is ready for us to pass we will whether it be now or in a few months from now it will happen when the time is right :)

I did saunders cd and i was scoring between 75 and 83% and i felt really confident.I had a lot of priortization that i coulnd not figure out.assingment for CNA,no activites of daily living. After 100 questions i was so confused the complex questions i was geting and kept using all my strategies.I will wait for th printout and see where i have to work on.I will also study priotization and delegation by LaCharity.Thank you guys

-ive also used saunders 4th ed as my study material.. on the exam cd i was scoring 70% - 80% even on the alternate questions.. so i was feeling confident too.. i failed at 265 btw, and about 60% of my questions were prioritization! just like you, i had TONS of prioritization questions! i dont know if it was just me or it was the questions, but the prtoritization questions i had were like really hard and confusing for me.. coz the standard "ABC's" technique wouldn't work against those type questions..

Sorry to hear you were not successful this time.Consider trying Suzanne's Plan. Take a break and come back to studying refreshed. Best of luck. The exam really is very hard to predict. I know lots of nurses who have failed their NCLEX one or more times and are now providing excellent patient care and precepting others.

Just start studying again as if you were studying for the first time. We suggest using Suzanne's plan as many have passed using it. You can find out about it by reading the stickies at the top of this forum. Good luck.

I have failed twice... am worried because in WA you have to wait 95 days before testing again, it has been 8months since I graduated now, what are my chances what do you do if you never pass....just a waste? go back to school? anyone pass after failing and waiting this long?

I hear where you all are coming from. I took the test twice in 2007 and failed both times, both with 75 questions. I moved back home earlier this year to spend time studying with a private tutor once a week and it's already made a world of difference. I plan to take the test in February 2009, so we will see how it goes. Good luck to everyone else who is planning to take it again soon!!!

I just saw your message and wanted to say real quick that I graduated in January 2007 and I'm still trying to pass. Not that it will take you that long, but don't worry, keep studying and trying your best, you will pass eventually.
