  1. i feel you.. i've been searching countless hours for an entry level RN job.. and i can barely find one!! arrrrrggghhhh!! most of the opening i see require "at least one year acute nursing experience required." i don't even bother applying for those.. and thats the PROBLEM!! coz i can barely find job openings for RN's that dont require expirience!! what will happen to us "new" nurses now!?:angryfire
  2. i got 6 SATA, 2 drag n drop, 2 dosage, couple of meds.. my computer stopped at 78 and i passed!!:nuke: hope u get good news!! good luck!!
  3. its always hard! my computer stopped at 78 and i passed! just wait for your results.. try too keep yourself busy until then..:nuke: hope u get good news! good luck!!
  4. you'll never know until you get your results.. until then, just relax! hope you get good news!! good luck!! -just read that you passed!! CONGRATS!!!!
  5. just what this guy said.. i on the other hand failed at 265 at my first try.. thankfully i passed the 2nd time!:nuke: just remember the number of questions you answered does not determine the results of your exam.. the best thing to do is wait for your results.. until then, keep yourself busy to stop worrying so much.. hope you get good news!! good luck!!
  6. i was about to post a similar thread! i just found out yesterday that i passed the NCLEX RN!! (wooOohooOoo!!) but come to think about it, i have no idea what to do next!! the mail that i received only had a a piece of paper stating that "enclosed is my new registered nurse card.." and that "i will receive additional licensing information under separate cover.." i have no clue what to do next.. any help/advice will be appreciated!! btw, congrats for passing the NCLEX!
  7. i used kaplan online.. i was scoring about 58% - 68% on all my practice exams.. i just received my mail yesterday and i passed!! (thank god!) my computer stopped at 78 btw.. ur doing 70% and that's great!! kaplan recommends about 65%.. so just keep it up! ur doing great!! good luck on your exam!!:nuke:
  8. i failed my 1st take at 265.. i had like 60ish% prioritization questions.. i wish i knew how to answer them better.. then my whole take on the nclex will be more like a "freebie"...:sniff:
  9. i was confused a lot with the prioritization questions.. i had tons of them when i sat for my nclex.. like 60% are prioritization.. failed at 265.. i think one factor is i lacked on test taking strategies.. i was ok on content.. cause i read, studied, answered all the questions on the saunders book (including cd).. and saunders has really good content.. but in order to slay the beast, u'll need content + strategy..
  10. wow! this is inspiring.. i just failed my 1st take on nclex and im now considering kaplan.. i used saunders as my review material.. unfortunately it didn't quite cut it.. its not that its bad material or anyting.. i actually learned a lot from saunders! yup! read and studied the whole book, used the cd.. great content! but when i sat for my nclex, i was getting these questions that i felt that i didnt know how to answer and confused me alot.. i think this is one of the main reason on why i failed.. i think i need to work on my test taking strategies and on how to answer smart.. and from what i have read from the threads here, kaplan is really good at diong just that..!
  11. i took my exam last dec 8, i recieved my results last dec 22.. im just pulling myself together now and im just tryng to enjoy the holidays.. tnx for the support!:redbeathe i really do hope you pass!! best of luck to you!! let me know what happens ok?
  12. hey guys, thanks for all of your support.. really appreciate it.. this site really helps! im thinking of starting suzanne's plan.. im gonna start on her 1st tip after the holidays and after i pull myself together.. thanks again!!!:redbeathe
  13. -ive also used saunders 4th ed as my study material.. on the exam cd i was scoring 70% - 80% even on the alternate questions.. so i was feeling confident too.. i failed at 265 btw, and about 60% of my questions were prioritization! just like you, i had TONS of prioritization questions! i dont know if it was just me or it was the questions, but the prtoritization questions i had were like really hard and confusing for me.. coz the standard "ABC's" technique wouldn't work against those type questions..
