you may now call me tweety, rn, bsn!!!!!
two and a half years later, 17 courses (i needed a few co-reqs), one class at a time, one paper at a time, 16 a's and one a minus, (i haven't got my final on my last class yet), 16 years after graduating with an adn, i finished florida hospital college of health sciences online rn to bsn program.
i wasn't feeling it until i hit submit and it dawned on me that i submitted my very last paper and i'm done. at which time i then jumped up and down like a football player scoring a touchdown and am practically in tears...yessssssssss it feels good.
to say i'm thankful to allnurses, wouldn't be enough. it was on this very forum i discovered the program i chose and received encouragement all along to start and to stay in. i'm so greatful to everyone on the distance learning forum, all the other forums, my blog readers who have had to listen to me whine and cry for the last 2.5 years. i would not have made it alone without my allnurses friends! thanks so much!
i'm just beside myself with joy and pride. thanks for listening.
i'm going to take a break before i think about returning to school again. i've earned it. woot.
CONGRATS!! Im fairly new to allnurses.com and I have been frequenting it more recently on a regular basis. I have had my ADN for 5 years, I have not gone back because I HATE math! I just finished that obstacle and conqured statistics, I guess I will take your place tweety and slowly but surely forge on to complete my BSN. CONGRATS again.

you are an inspiration to us all, including this midlifer who still hasn't managed to find the motivation to finish my bachelor's. you are living proof that nobody ever gets too comfortable or too old to better themselves through higher education and hard work.
