Do you go to work with parabens on you?

Published

What do you think of going to work with parabens on you?

Do you generally avoid parabens when you get ready to go to work in the morning, or do you apply them liberally? Do you think parabens factor into creating a "safe" environment? Some people are strongly against parabens. Where do you fall on the matter of bringing in parabens to work or spraying parabens around at work.

I wonder: why exactly parabens?

Why not organic oils, to which many people are sensitive for very real?

Why not BPA, which is proven to be harmful (on mice and rabbits, that is, but still)?

Why not tobacco, after all??

Because parabens popped into my mind. Like popcorn in the head.

we're worried about scents when we have pts who can literally stink up a whole floor( to where other pts are gagging) ?

Also, we have to wipe everything down with bleach and whatever that dispatch stuff is. And housekeeping has added vinegar ( which helps) to their cleaning materials

So if the place doesnt smell like poop, it smells like a pool, or a salad.:wideyed:

I dont think anyone notices my deoderant.

Oh I wear whatever I always have no one has ever said a word to me, maybe that's why I didn't know what a paraben was!? Lol!

This.

All the Bens I've met are hot. I'd totally go to work with a parabens. One on each arm, thank you.

Go to work with parabens, come home with a new set of bacteria; it's a trade!

I've read several times/places that they're to be avoided (cancer causing? hormone disrupters? - can't remember for sure) ... so I don't buy sunscreens or shampoos with them.

If you wear a white coat in the forest, does your parabens matter?

More seriously, I do not wear perfume or scented soaps, nor scented products when I am working the floor. When I am teaching, I don't pay as much attention.
