I occasionally see posts and wonder if they are from classmates. The situations that are described will sound like my school and then they'll say something like, "I'm in a BSN program." That clues me in that it isn't a classmate!
It drives me nuts when I can't figure out if it's someone I know or not!
Do you suspect fellow classmates of posting here with you?

One of my good friends/classmate has found me on here before. Luckily, I'm always careful about what I write! She just knows me that well :)

Nope I don't worry about it. But then again I just transferred to a new school so really don't know my classmates. I'm getting a little older so I don't worry much about what others think or worry that I'm being hunted down on the 'net. Also I never say bad things about my school, less stress to deal with :). Speak with an open mind and open heart is what my mama always said.

i posted something in my states nursing program section asking if anyone goes or is going to the school im transferring to in jan, because i wanted some info on the program.. i didnt find anyone that goes there, but i found someone who is on the border or being accepted and gave him/her tips on what to do to make his/herself more attractive to the school, so that was cool. i hope i helped them out...
i would love to find someone on here that goes to that school though, because im not from that area really so i have a feeling im not going to know anybody!

There are some words and sentences that my friends would say or write. I know that it is hard to find your classmates here because no one gives out their personal info such as name and lastname...and I don't do that either. Even if they find a way to find me I have nothing to worry about...I am not backstabbing anyone or offending anyone.

Through some posts, I was able to put two-and-two together to figure out that one of my classmates actually posts here. I sent a private message asking if she was _____ (insert name in the blank space), and she confirmed her identity.
Also, one of my former coworkers posts here. It's a small world after all.

I am 99% sure that I have a classmate on here. Her "handle" gave it away. She couldn't figure mine out. I don't think........

Half my class reads the board... most are only active in the particular thread discussing our school. It was fun on the first day of school figuring out who was who, but we've moved way past that. When you know someone in person it becomes much less important what they say on a nursing board.
