Did not pass Nclex-PN

It's true. I got my thick envelop about an hour ago. I've called and cried and yelled at 3 of my loved ones. I'm very disappointed in myself however I'm going to take it again. So Im not going to beat myself up over it. This forum has really helped though because if I didn't have this I probably would be an emotional wreck right now. Good luck to all of those still waiting for their results!

bummer this is a mighty big bump on the road but it is that 'just a bump'

I understand that this was hard to swallow. Please do not let it get the best of you. Take a step back, regroup, and then get ready to prepare for the next time. You will do just fine.

I'm sorry Kaligirl. :( I'm glad to hear that you're not going to let it get you down.

:icon_hug: I'm sorry you didn't pass Kaligirl. But good for you for not giving up!!! You can do this, and I know you will pass the next time! Sending positive vibes your way :)

Thanx guys! :)

I'm sorry to hear about the bad news Kali but keep your head high and say "I can do this!" :) Take time to prepare yourself again and goodluck! My prayers are with you.

I am sorry to know that you did not make it. Please, tell yourself you can do it no matter the out come each time you try. Just listen to what others have done, and find something that you did not do that may help you next time. Listen, practice, listen, practice, practice a lot of questions epecially from Saunders-PN. The CD has more than 25,000 questions to practice. Do not waste time on things you know, review what you do not know. Remember you are still going to be a registered nurse soon. Good luck

its okay i am with you on the failure. I myself failed also more than 4xs. im only 27 and not giving up. Ive been answering questionse everyday where to the point it drives me in sane . but i think the more you do something you get better at it. just dont feel like you are alone .. you are not alone. believe in yourself.. .. i ahve not taking it but i will at the middle of this month so please keep me in your prayers. we can all manage.. .. sometimes failing will make us better people .. seriously. just imagine how many times i have received the bad news myself but im not quitting. I still strive to be successful thats becuz once i get the passing letter I will go shopping and be the most trendiest nurse out there just like what my name describes. luv2shop19mall. ;)

I am very sorry, you did not pass, it is ok to vent, but then pick yourself up and try to study again, 48days ago, I fail, but I took it again on aug 31 and I pass, praise god, I know the depressing feeling, but always tell yourself you will pass, God bless.

i just want to say that when its your time to pass it wil happen. don't get down and discouraged because i am a living testimony that it can and will happen. i graduated in 2004 and it took 5 trys and i finally passed. when god says it's your time your turn will come in full force. you can never know everything b/c the nclex is very unpredictable. just pray and walk in on your testing day knowing that you have already passed. don't worry if it cuts off at 85 or 205 b/c that doesn't mean you have passed or failed. i've had 85 questions,141,205,91, and this last and final time i had 121. that goes to show you that you will never know until it comes in the mail.. good luck and never quit....GALPN
