Did I pass the NCLEX?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I took the NCLEX exam today and it was terrible. Everytime I would read a question I would think, that is a no brainer, this is what needs to happen. Without fail, the answer I wanted was never there :scrying: . It was terrible. I graduated with 4.0 and I don't think I passed it. There were many things on there I've never even heard of. I know they are looking for a basic level of competency but what is that level? I didn't get any "basic" questions, I felt like they were all hard but the same hard. I didn't feel like they fluctuated in difficulty like I expected them to. I had 75 questions, do you think that is a good thing or that I just failed really badly. So worried. Please somebody help!!!!!!! :scrying:

Oh my gosh! I PASSED!!!!!!!:chuckle I am just thrilled. I was up ALL NIGHT LONG last night pacing the floor and looking over books and then finally today at 10:30 I found out that I passed. What a relief. I just keep on writing my name over and over with the RN on it. It feels so good. My daughter was born at 24 weeks, weight 1 lb and 3 oz, 10 years ago when she didn't have much of a chance at all of surviving and did and has not one problem at all. I just felt so much like God was wanting me to bring something good out of that experience so I will officially be starting work at University of Kentucky NICU where she was in February! thanks so much to all of you for all your support. Nurses are such good people!

Congratulations to all the new RNs

Great job!

:balloons: :biggringi :yelclap:

My daughter was born 1 pound 9 ounces and I am also planning on NICU nursing!

Good Job!

Well, I'm sure you'll do just fine. I think that it helps a lot when you can relate to what your patients/families are going through personally. It brings your care to a whole new level when you can truly empathize! God bless!

Anyone out there got a prayer left for a 1/5/06 NCLEX with no fingernails left and lots of time to wait it out? Is it possible I might get my results on a Saturday? I only had 75 questions and there were tons of priority questions. It was by far the hardest test I ever took! I woke in the night last night with chest pain and a hard swallow from all the anxiety!!!! It is torture!!! How did people wait months and test for days back when????? So Happy for all the New RN's :nurse::nurse::nurse:

Best of luck in the NICU!!!

I heard that if you got the cutoff at 75 then its more than likely you passed. That there are not many people that fail at 75.

The number of questions means absolutely nothing. You can pass, or you can fail with 75.

All of you are trying to read something into the numbers that do not exist. It also does not matter that you got the last question correct or not correct. You will give yourself ulcers over this. Sit back and relax. There is absolutely nothing that can be done until you see your name posted or you get the letter in the mail, depending on the state.:)

congratulations to all of you that did pass!

and good luck for those of you that are still waiting...........:balloons:
