Dansko Shoes are killing my feet!!!
Help!!! I paid a ton of money for these Dansko shoes because everyone said they were so great. The tops of my feet are killing me! I have worn them twice and both times, terrible pain on tops of my feet all the way to my middle toe. A friend suggested pads for the tops of my feet that you can buy at a shoe store but it has been almost a week since I last wore those shoes and my feet are still hurting. I'm a size 7 1/2 american shoes but these come in either 37 for size 6 1/2 to 7 or 38 for size 7 1/2 to 8. I bought the 38 hoping bigger would be better. Any advice out there?

Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing?
I just graduated from the accelerated program. I started Sept. 2004 and graduated Dec. 2005. It was extremely difficult. ...but also worth it. It is intense and prepared me extremely well for the NCLEX. The clinical experience was extensive. Good Luck.

Which hospital?
Hi Happy, Not sure if you are still looking or have already decided to go to Yale. I am a new graduate started at Bridgeport Hospital. Yale is a HUGE hospital with alot of students and hustle and bustle. That said, Connecticut has several wonderful hospitals for experienced nurses. Hartford Hospital and Middlesex Hospital are Magnet Hospitals and Griffin Hospital is a Plaintree Model. The pay would vary based on your experience and the unit you want to work in. In general, ICU's and ER's pay about 4 dollars more an hour and Float Pools offer about 5 dollars more an hour. Depending on where you will be living in Connecticut, you will find good and bad commutes. Good Luck with your searching!

Did I pass the NCLEX?
Anyone out there got a prayer left for a 1/5/06 NCLEX with no fingernails left and lots of time to wait it out? Is it possible I might get my results on a Saturday? I only had 75 questions and there were tons of priority questions. It was by far the hardest test I ever took! I woke in the night last night with chest pain and a hard swallow from all the anxiety!!!! It is torture!!! How did people wait months and test for days back when????? So Happy for all the New RN's :nurse: Best of luck in the NICU!!!
