I found out yesterday that I passed boards and am now a Registered Nurse :) Soooo excited!!! If I wasn't sick, I'd be jumping up and down and screaming!
Anyway, I've been browsing online and looking at some Nurse things like: Bumper Stickers, License Plate Frames, Mugs, Magnets, etc.
I really want to get something that says I'm a nurse (other than my license), and I'm just trying to figure out what to buy. Do you think putting something on the car is tacky?
Did you buy anything?
Where do all you people live where you have to worry about the public finding out you’re a nurse? We live 50 miles outside Chicago and have no such issues. My wife’s car has nurse in the license plate. That can work to your advantage. As it so happens the kids slept over at a friend’s house last Sunday and we were driving home on a four lane highway a cop pulls out behind me and follows closely. Then switches lanes and turn on the lights to the car in the other lane. Neither one of us were speeding or swerving, but it was after 2 am and they know there is a good chance for a DUI no matter what car they pull over. My wife asked me why did he switch lanes and pulled the other car over, and I told her because her plates say nurse. If we had been in my car we would have been the one’s pulled over. Just for the record I was the DD and it wouldn’t have mattered. I think the type of car you drive would matter more than the ID that it’ss a nurses car. Also what nurse has drugs in their car?
Congrats !!!! I have a car magnet that says LPN and another magnet that says NURSES SAVES LIVES. I have no problem with things like that. When I was a CNA I had CNA things on my car. When I become a RN I will get it on my licensed plate.
I see credidentials all the time on peoples car. ONe nurse had GI RN.
