Did anyone apply to UCLA's MECN Program for Fall 2009?

Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.

Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?

Hi everyone. I just registered although I've been following the threads for a while. Nothing in the mail today. If it's true that decisions were only made mid week, I'm sure we can all expect to hear by Wednesday (at least for the West Coast people). Thank goodness for all the info on here to help me cope with the unbearable wait.

Almost same thing happened with me on last Tuesday, the first day of this ordeal

Seems that I am competing with more than one other UK international student for a spot, I doubt they'd take more than one.. So my chances are even more slim now :/

I'm just going to assume I've not got in, because to be quite frank, I have severe doubts now that I know that there are more UK applicants.

Another UK girl in another thread said she'd also applied and I suspect others have too.

UCLA is a very popular school worldwide, so I guess I shoudn't be surprised that I'm not the only UK applicant.

I know what you're saying Sarah. I just read the other thread. It said something about someone being number one on the waiting list??? Who??? Nothing in the mail today. Sarah it will all work out for the best. The waiting is tough, but we will survive.
