Did anyone apply to UCLA's MECN Program for Fall 2009?

Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.

Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?

I just emailed Shelli and she said all the letters went to the mailroom today, so depending on where you live, we should hear by tomorrow at the earliest. Good luck to all!

Go to the wine-tasting! Music, it sounds to me like she wasn't even guaranteeing that the letters will go into the U.S. mail system today. Is that how you interpreted it? Isn't it possible they don't even go into the system until Monday?

Yeah, good point 'cause I'm assuming she meant the school mailroom. I'm not sure when the school mailroom takes their mail to the post office. Might be today, but might be next week! Ugh. Yeah, I might have to go and not worry about it until Monday. I live in San Diego so it might even take longer than a day.

Yea I'd definitely choose the wine tasting! That sounds so much more fun than waiting and being anxious by the mailbox.

I'm pretty sure she meant school mailroom because the UCs tend to have their mail collected and sent out thru a central system.

If this was the UK, the postman wouldn't take the post till Monday .. So I'm going to anticipate getting the notification at some point next week!
