My advice is to keep trying. Apply to all jobs, even if it's not what you want. I precepted in peds and only wanted peds and ended up on an adult ortho floor but its a job!

Woohoo fellow feb 28th-ers! So excited to meet you guys! Now on to the apt search... For those of you who haven't gotten a call, don't lose hope! And if you don't get the job, keep trying! I got this after multiple interviews at hospitals and over 50 applications....it will come!

It sounded to me like they were calling for the feb 7 start date first but didn't realize some of the people weren't local so gave a choice of the start dates. I don't know about the number for each cohort but I'm guessing they made each one a little smaller (but again, just guessing).

Got the call today! Starting Feb 28! The other start dates are Feb 7 and March 14. Good luck everyone!

The invited 200. I know some people got called to come in earlier (meaning there were people that didn't show up). One of the other threads said only 135 showed up? I didn't see what I scored on anything because my interviewer left everything blank until after I left Who knows!

I have the same problem! One of my letters is photocopied, the professor is no longer at my school (therefore I cannot get it on letterhead) and its not even signed because she sent it to me in an email (therefore it looks like I could have written it...). I really don't know how they can expect us to give them an original, most teachers will give you one and then drop off the face of the planet (ok maybe not...) I have been trying to get ahold of my professors for WEEKS now and the school is not even in session right now, so I feel like I'm screwed. Thinking about just putting an addendum behind the letter stating the reason for its unoriginality? Any opinions??

Is anyone else having trouble with this application? I have filled out the profile at least 5 times now and it will not save or let me apply! Can't get ahold of anyone in HR either! So frustrating. I just want to apply!

I got the invite this morning! I'm kind of freaking out though because I don't have original copies of my LOR's or transcripts and my school isn't open until next wednesday (of course!) what to do?! Does anyone know how this is going to go? I heard there would be different managers there, but then we have an appt time, and the cover letter says to specify a dept interest....any clue?

For those who went through the open house, can you tell us about it? Was it dept managers? What kinds of questions were asked?

Not sure specifically but pay is probably around 30/hr (if I had to guess...thats what most are in the la/oc area but also depends on shift).

Question, did you guys rank a specific dept you wanted on the application? Or is it a general new grad program? Im assuming multiple depts will be at the Open House...do we talk to all of them or one? I'm kinda in the blue here...
