Dialysis staff nurse salary in US

Published

Hello,

I just want to ask if anyone here knows the salary or an average salary of a dialysis staff nurse in New York or in any other state in US? Thanks. :)

Specializes in Emergency Room, Hospice/Palliative Care.

Wow-23.77? I guess they are hoping with the 3.5 hours OT they have to pay, that it might be competitive. Did you work the numbers out? (around 300/day-I think) It seems the hospital pay grade for new RN's in So. Ca (depending on what part) is around 26-30/hr., but no OT after 8 hours at most places.

Wow that is nowhere near what I expected. I hope NY is better. Good luck if you get/take it :)

Hawaii $50/hr job rate.

32.00 in training.

Is dialysis 12 hr shifts?

Where are you located Jennifer_app?

I have heard that Dialysis shifts are 12 hours, and often longer-pookyp

In NYC I started at a dialysis center making 31 an hour but at the bigger companues you will get arojnd 35 an hour

Hi everyone,

I have had two interviews with Davita, and I am about to fly to Arizona for the final interview where the job is. I am in California. I have been looking for a job in any hospital since I graduated and no luck. So far I have been getting a lot of response from out of California Davitas.

A little scared but willing to give it a try. For now I just hope someone will hire me coz I am about to give up on this nursing thing. Trust me it is very Frrrrrrrrastrating. First it was BSN required!!!!! Now that I have my BSN its experience, If nobody wants to hire and train where do we get the experience from?????????

I thought NY pays alot more. I heard of techs making that hourly rate in NY. In Philadelphia DaVita no experience pays 26-28hr. With experience floor nurse goes up to about 38hr

I have over ten years experience. $34.50/hr working as sub-contractor in a prison. Working conditions are pretty rough, and no staff member works more than 30 hrs a week.

hi fellow RNs! Just want to share that I am receiving $10 per hr as Staff RN in a dialysis center (x1.5 after 8hrs)... I have no experience... I accept the job because no employer would hire an employee without related-experience... I live in southern California!

That's awful Techs make $17-$20 an hr.

Staten Island NY $34.00/hr, plus night differential....Here's the kicker... Ready....14.5-15.5 hr shifts....I don't know how I do it!!!!
