DH dying-need prayers

I've posted before about my husband being terminally ill and complications that have come up, but this is the worst it has every been. Currently in ICU with ARDS and sepsis, placed on dialysis yesterday. On a vent, paralytic, the whole works.

Miraculously he has been showing signs of improvement. CXR went from a complete white out to having distinguishable upper lobes, heart, ET. That was amazing. Has been running a PEEP of 20. Went in this morning to a stunned looking pulmonologist telling me that the lungs are regaining some elasticity so they got the PEEP down to 8. (PTL!)

I have been glued to his bedside but am home tonight as I had nobody to take care of our 5 year old. Besides she is desperate for some mommy time and vice versa. I was actually sleeping peacefully and his brother called and woke me up. Couldn't go back to sleep and felt God telling me to get on here and get as many prayers as possible going so that dh can get over the hump. My brother in law is an atheist but I continue to witness to him about God in my life and God's ability to heal if it is in his will.

Please, all you that can pray, please help me out on this one. His name is Dan and I love him more than anything. He had not made a decision for the Lord before he was intubated so that is a big reason for wanting him to wake up and have one more chance.

Thanks in advance to all. You guys are wonderful support.

I am a holistic practitioner. I request your permission to add your husband to a reiki healing list or two.

In order to add you to one, I need specific permission so that healing can be accepted.

Please PM me your state and city and first/last names for the list. I will get you all on the list as soon as I have this information. Reiki works wonders. Please allow us to share it with you!

Love and Light

By his strips your husband has already been healed. You have to claim that victory in the Name of Jesus. Everything must bow, including sickness..

Jehovah ROPHE the Lord that Healeth.....I call on your name to touch this man in your mighty power. There is no one like you, no one to compare to you. You are the Alpha and Omega, the begining and the end...As long we have breathe, we will praise your Holy name. You are an awesome God. We love you, we know you have to power to heal the sick, right now, I ask you to touch him...I am thanking you for healing....Jehovah Saboath...the Lord of Hosts; of all the angels...In the mighty name of Jesus we speak of healing. We are not going to focus on the situation, we know all things are possible to those who believe. You said, without faith it is impossible to please you, you also said, if two people on earth agree on anything, it shall be done. I know you are faithful to your words. Today, I am in total agreement with everyone on healing for this man. You promise us, like Joshua, you will never leave us nor forsake. For this, we know victory belongs to us. In Jesus Name...........Praise the Lord, for your mercy and grace endureth forever................Bless your Holy Name...We adore Jesus.........We need you every hour

Today's quick update...

artrial fib and flutter all night--figured out they were drying him out intravascularly. Made some changes on the diuretics. HR has come down to 110's. Urine output 350cc per hour. No need to continue dialysis at this time. Nurse thinks doc will talk to me tomorrow about putting in a trach and sending him to a specialty vent hospital an hour or so away for weaning. That makes me sick. My dh would not want to be that far away. Still continue with my faith, thanking God for each improvement and praying for more. I pray that His name be magnified by a healing that all who see it know that it was only by the Ultimate Physician. PS...my DD (5yo) got her tonsils out today. Did great but I haven't been able to go to the hospital at all today. Really suffering that I can't see, touch or talk to DH.

May I add my thoughts to the many others expressed here in this forum. I will light a candle for you, your daugher and husband. I hope you are finding comfort in your God and higher power(s)

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Keep talking to him, he possibly can hear and God knows his heart. I will pray!

Someone stopped by tonight so I was able to run to the hospital a minute. Dan was fine until I left. When I said "goodbye", he had a large stool, HR went from 115 to 103, BP went down to 66/22 and sat dropped to 75%. I stayed until they got him "stable" but I had to leave to get back to my daughter. Looks like I'll have another sleepless night, except feeling more hopeless since I'm not there. Your support means so much to me at this time.

NurseJoey:

My heart goes out to you and your dear family. I have said a prayer and will continue to do so for you all. You have so much on your plate right now, being there for your daughter who just had surgery as well as your DH, bless your heart. I hope you are able to get some rest, stress can really wear on your poor body.

Many hugs and prayers

Emma
