Is anyone applying to CSUN's ABSN program (2014 cohort)??? I know their application deadline is coming up but the info on their website is out of date and there's no application available on the site. I tried contacting the department via email and phone but no response/answer. Anyone having better luck applying than me?

Hi Everyone! I literally just got a phone call from CSUN for an interview. Mine is scheduled for Friday, March 7!! Did anyone else get a phone call today??

Hi everyone! I got my BA in another country, and I went through the process of evaluation (acceptance) of my transcripts by the International Department. Yesterday I received ambiguous e-mail from this department that "you have been admitted to the University as a Second Bachelor's student in Nursing." I think its means that I was approved to receive my 2nd degree... I am waiting ...

Twineejoy704 did they say if they were still calling or seem like there is a lot of spaces still available?

Also, what is the first letter of your last name? Maybe they are going in order?

Binky16- I didn't ask to see if they were still calling other candidates for interviews. My last name starts with a P. I don't know if they are necessarily going in alphabetical order...

Anyone else get an interview lately? I still haven't heard anything! I'm assuming that's a bad sign, this was my number one choice! It's strange there's not a lot of people writing on the forum.

I havent heard anything from them either! It's driving me crazy! :( I hope I get a call soon.

Hi there everyone. I received a voicemail from the nursing department and they said that they're still processing applications. Same message of waiting until March, checking your email, etc. It sounded like they are processing application in batches.

So they called you just to say they are still processing applications? Not to schedule you an interview?? Now strange!!!! I'm getting anxious!! :/

I've gotten the same response when I've called (applications are being reviewed by the committee, check your email in March, etc). I hope they are doing review in batches. Could be that they are working on the summer class first, then fall--just a guess.

I feel like people who got PHONE calls are being scheduled for interviews. This march email is probably a "no thank you" email..... :(
