CSUN ABSN 2014

Is anyone applying to CSUN's ABSN program (2014 cohort)??? I know their application deadline is coming up but the info on their website is out of date and there's no application available on the site. I tried contacting the department via email and phone but no response/answer. Anyone having better luck applying than me?

No, no one got accepted without an interview I don't think. But I'm assuming the email they are telling those of us who haven't been called for an interview is a rejection email.

Hi everyone. I haven't applied for CSUNs ABSN program, but I'm applying for the Fall 2015 program. I'm currently a CSUN student finishing my BA in psych (I graduate this fall). Just wondering if some of you could share your overall GPA and science pre req GPA :) if not I understand and good luck to all of you! :) how exciting that you all will be starting nursing school soon!

Im curious too on the questions. What do you think? The usual? Your strengths and your weaknesses? Can you handle the intesity of the program?

Well my question to the program would be the schedule. Does anyone know how it work? like classes and clinicals? are they a set schedule or just random every week? It would be nice to continue my part time job while attending nursing school. If I have a set schedule for nursing school before hand I can probably make it work (working and going to school).

Any inputs on that?

this is an accelerated program. It is not recommended to work at all while in this program. and sometimes where could be saturday classes

I know! I wish there was more people on this thread! I feel like no one has heard a peep in about a week or so... I can't imagine they took that long of a hiatus from scheduling interviews!

I'm feeling very discouraged...!! I wish I at least knew my packet was complete... Not knowing anything is driving me crazy!!

Just wanted to let you know that I received a call this morning to schedule an interview, so I guess they're still in the process of calling. I am very surprised as I had assumed that they were done. Hope those of you waiting receive a call as well! Good luck
