  1. how weird still no eamil saying yes or no. the last email was march 21st saying they are still reviewing the applicants. Are they still calling or sending out emails? should I call by now?
  2. I still haven't heard from them. Should I continue to wait or call? I probably didn't get in maybe that's why
  3. I haven't heard anything yet through my personal email. Are they still accepting/declining admissions to the ABSN program?
  4. Hey guys! I too got the email last friday saying they are still reviewing. But they haven't emailed me anything yet. I called and they said I still have a transcript missing. maybe that is why. what email do they send them out Personal or student csun email?
  5. ^^^^^I think it is for both (summer and fall). Are they sending out emails to the school email or to your personal email?
  6. I still need to send some transcripts. I hope this doesn't hinder the nursing program decision. do you know that it can affect it. I am sure I will get in the university but what if they don't receive my transcripts on time.
  7. Im curious too on the questions. What do you think? The usual? Your strengths and your weaknesses? Can you handle the intesity of the program? Well my question to the program would be the schedule. Does anyone know how it work? like classes and clinicals? are they a set schedule or just random every week? It would be nice to continue my part time job while attending nursing school. If I have a set schedule for nursing school before hand I can probably make it work (working and going to school). Any inputs on that? Thanks.
  8. so that means you are in the program? no interview?
  9. so did some people just get accepted through email? no interviews? anyone know what kind of questions they will ask on the interviews? so we can prep for it.
  10. Yes thank you. I just charged my phone and listened to the voice mail!!! I'm so excited and a little apprehensive. WOW I know this is not an acceptance letter yet but I am a little excited because this is the closes I have been in a nursing program. Does anyone know from previous cohorts how and what kind of questions they might ask?
  11. OMG my phone has been dead all day! do you think they will leave messages? What did they say??? was it an interview ??? please share
  12. Yes, I think we are all waiting. I haven't heard fromthem either. I think we just wait for an email stating we get in or not. I hope it's not until Apritl that is too long. Maybe mid March? For everyone out there do you guys know of any nursing programs out of state that have the same pre req's as CSUN and doesn't require a TEAS test. Perferably an Accerlerated program. I have my BS in Community Health and getting my Masters in Public Health right now, but I would surely put that on hold if I do get in a nursing program. Well...best of luck to all
  13. Hey, Despite how competitive it is to get in I did apply. my pre requisite is not close to 3.8 though. I just hope my experience and other classes of my application can adjust for that. Good luck to all.
  14. I am applying at the last minute! I have one letter of rec. and i need one more. Any suggestions from strong people. I had my supervisor do one for me in my hospital department (employer option of letter of rec.) but I am wondering if a professor would be a better suit than another employer (primary clinic). any suggestions or what did you do.? How tough is it getting? I have pretty good grades but now that I see 4.0's everywhere I feel like I will never get in a single program. my pre req's are at a 3.4 and I just dont know. I have lots of community and patient experience and in a MPH program but just would like to apply a nursing program because that is something I really would like to do. My undergrad GPA is a 3.68. Any idea how tough, should I even bother?
  15. So anything to post. Or can someone pm me to see the list of people who got in?
