I'm tempted to write back, "Were you not planning on informing me of this?? Or were you just waiting for me to get so desperate I had to seek you out?" Sorry....feeling a little bitter. And, yeah, it's totally indecent that they didn't send out official rejections - rather just a quick little "Sorry you were not offered admissions." Ugh. Annoying.

Got a response right away saying that I'm a big ol' reject.

crickets on my end this morning. this is becoming laughable...

Maybe they are scared that they will not have enough students (due to dragging it out so long and those students already committing to other programs) that they are keeping the rejects (me included) hanging on in case they need to pull from our pool..... I wish they would just tell us already though. I've been (anxiously) waiting this whole time but I'm starting to get kind of peeved about it.

I don't think anybody is going to hear anything until Monday (for those of us still waiting).....unfortunately.

Argh!!!! I wrote a response but my computer crapped out while it was posting. I basically said: It's ok! I think I'm just feeling super sensitive and like a huge loser about this whole thing. It's really hard to just not know anything but already start coming to terms with an impending rejection. I HOPE lbcgrl's optimism is not for nothing and there are still acceptances to go out but I'm not holding my breath for myself....

Yeah - it's a tiny bit insensitive to say that your place on the wait list is humiliating. At least it's not a straight up rejection....

Was it scary? What kinds of questions did they ask you? I've never done a nursing school interview.

Did anyone that got accepted to CSUN have to do an interview? I was under the impression that they didn't conduct interviews but I got a call from -------------- wanting to schedule one.....(btw it didn't happen because I told her that I found out I'm pregnant and she said she'd get back to me but I never heard from her again. Grrrrrr.)

I am dying...... I haven't heard anything but am refreshing my inbox every 2 seconds! Also - I want to believe that there are still acceptances to be sent out but I'm quickly losing hope. The mecn 2014 facebook group already has 89 people in it. You wouldn't join that if you weren't accepted, right???
